Client Challenge:
The company had outgrown its current systems and needed to move to a different platform. Additionally, the current system required too much oversight. They were also on a short implementation schedule. The client, at that time, supported roughly 200 customers and had to manually export all information from the old system; so, a mapping and migration plan had to be pulled together to migrate the data into the new system. New servers needed configuration for both QA, used for client acceptance testing, as well as production.
Solution:
Theoris Solutions gathered requirements, designed, and implemented an enterprise system for managing personnel and client data, client visits notes recording, and billing/payroll entries for a local home healthcare company. The client needed a new system and was on a tight timeline for migration. Our proposed solution included providing assistance with prioritizing and developing the requirements around a minimum viable product to meet the client’s timeline. This required rapidly delivering later functionality in a phased, sprint-like approach. A data migration plan was crafted to port data captured from the old system into the new one. The client’s team was trained on the new system processes and extensive client-acceptance testing was performed to ensure the system met all expectations.
Result:
- A high-quality system meeting the client’s requirements was delivered on time
- A more efficient system requiring less overhead and oversight allowed internal staff to focus on other priorities
- After the initial release, new functionality was quickly released in short, flexible durations, to meet the client’s changing needs
