A regional hospital for women was experiencing significant growth and a corresponding need for
improvement in its perioperative operational efficiency in order to meet its commitment to
delivering superior women’s health care services. In order to promote greater visibility and
accountability in its processes, the hospital needed a more effective method to track and monitor
critical admissions and operating room data. Working with Theoris Software, the hospital
deployed Theoris Vision Software Version IV allowing staff to define and use dashboards and key
performance indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability and efficiency throughout the facility.
Today, the hospital has transformed its perioperative department into a dynamic, metrics-based
organization as staff now has better insight into organizational data and can more efficiently
track admissions and operating room utilization data across the organization.
