Contract to Hire (Local) Opportunity: Client intends to make a job offer after approx. 6 months of consulting
This client is world renown in its field and the position will work with medical researchers and staff to architect, assemble and manage systems relating to health information exchange, clinical decision support, and various other research endeavors.
Requirements
* Experience with the healthcare data standard HL7
* Experience with data migration within SQL
* Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
* Minimum three years work experience requiring database design, extensive programming, systems development, programming, testing and implementation in current Java technologies.
* Three years work experience with SQL.
* Demonstrated Data management experience with data sets preferably in healthcare.
* Three years of related work experience in information systems is required.
* Prior medical-related work experience is preferred.
* Ability to interact and verbally communicate with managers, clients, and customers.
* Ability to learn new technology tools as a standard practice
* Ability to write reports and operational correspondence
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
* Determines which method (several steps) from several prescribed but not obvious options will accomplish job results.
