Network Engineer

Salary range 85k-105k
Responsible for engineering, administering, and supporting the local and wide area network.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
* This position evaluates and recommends network hardware, software and administration tools.
* Provides leadership for network or infrastructure projects from concept through design
Requirements
5 years(+)
* Ticket review, global network monitoring, monitor network consoles, responsible for major incident reaction/resolution
* The network is global in nature ( 1,000 servers, 12,000 end users, 1,000 network devices)
* CISCO Certifcation heavily preferred (CCNA/CCSA)
* QOS (Quality of Service) exp - relative to VOIP
* Call Manager Configuration exp
* Lightweight Wireless
* WAAS (Cisco WAN Acceleration)
BS in computer science or equivalent
(+) experience with Solar Wins Orion or other Network Monitoring Software
